Adam has legit laryngitis. How do I know? A girl relayed information to everyone after she talked to a member of the American Idol management. Some douche rocket asked the guy "If Adam's voice is that bad, why does he still sing on the tour?". And he said...

"Well, short of [Adam] being on his deathbed, he has no choice really but to come out and sing because so many people come out for him and he doesn’t want to disappoint them."

I started crying after I read that, I'm not even kidding. I feel so bad for him... I hope he gets better really fast. I know Demi Lovato has had a lot of trouble with her voice [from singing so much] and has overcome it; so I just wish my best to Adam and pray for a speedy recovery.

PS: Right now, I have so much more respect for Adam after learning this, because he could have easily pulled a Katherine McPhee and go AWOL for half the Idol tour like she did in season five. You don't know how much I respect him for sticking with the tour and doing his thing every night with how bad his voice is. I just hope he doesn't completely ruin it. Baby has about 24 more dates left, I hope he sticks it out and kills every night on tour... or at least sticks it out until AFTER my show ;)
